Lukas Öcker, born in Linz in 1985, began his musical journey in 2005 with the self-taught exploration and production of experimental electronic music. Inspired by the manifestos of travelling autonomous groups and the developments of the “non-genre”, he was involved in the organization of free event series (ABCD - Another BreakCore Disaster & KOR:) in the field of noise and breakcore in Vienna from 2007 - under the pseudonym FridaKore as part of the then STP collective. Numerous concerts and invitations to events followed before he took a longer creative break after two intensive years. This was followed by training in his main profession as a social care worker and many years of increased professional activity in this field. During this time, he rarely accepted a musical offer and at the same time left all social media platforms.
In 2023, motivated in part by the diversity of the experimental Viennese music scene, he resumed production with a new approach, dedicating himself to technical innovations and increasingly focusing on the possibilities of actual live performances where rhythms, sounds and melodies are created and modulated on the spot.
In early 2024, he co-founded the noise/IDM duo Hörspiel with Zeynep Sarıkartal (aka ZS ZS), which is now a solo IDM project with occasional contributions from ZS ZS.
